Whether you’re the bar type, or movie and pizza type, every girl loves a fun night in with their best friends. Fall is the best time for a fun girls weekend because there are so many things to do during this time of year. Pinterest and Instagram have endless activities, and recipes, to help with your fall girls night. But to make your life a little bit easier I came up with a few ideas and sharing some fun fall recipes!
About a month ago Rachel and I talked about how we wanted to bake and paint pumpkins on Halloween, and just have a fun Halloween themed girls night. I met Rachel our freshman year of college, and we spent a lot of nights hanging out watching movies and drinking wine during that time, so it was kinda fun to do this again now that we’re both adults (or, kinda).
Text your best friends, and plan out a fun girls night with these fun ideas and recipes!
What to do:
Rent a Halloween movie. Disney has the BEST Halloween movies! That might sound cheesy, but sometimes it’s fun to watch the movies you loved in middle school! Halloween movies are still acceptable in November!
Paint pumpkins. I personally enjoy painting over carving because it’s easier and less of a mess, but pick your favorite! Pinterest has so many cute pumpkin ideas.
Re-watch holiday episodes. I loved Halloween and Christmas time because of all the fun ways tv shows would celebrate on their episodes. Re-watch the Halloween episodes of Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl and any other of your favorites!
Craft. Fall and crafting seem to go hand-in-hand. Something about this time of year makes my creative juices start to flow. Find a fun holiday inspired craft on Pinterest, and make a fun night out of it!
Cook a fall recipe. Rachel is the cook between us two, so she kinda took the reins on this one. Sharing the soup recipe here.
Make a fall adult drink. What’s a girls night without an alcoholic drink right? I have a go-to caramel apple sangria that I make for almost every holiday party in November and December- it’s that good! Recipe here. The recipe is pretty sweet, so I add a little bit more wine and cider!
Pin this to save for your next girls night or holiday party!
What are your favorite things to do in fall?
Love all your ideas!! Carmel apple sangria sounds yummy. I’ll have to try it.
