Hi friends! How has it been over 20 days since I have last posted for you guys?! I swear I thought it had only been a week… Let me tell ya this working full-time thing is no joke, and I have just been slacking in the blogging department lately. But, you’ve heard all this before so I won’t go into it again!
Today I’m recapping my weekend at Create & Cultivate!
I found out about Create and Cultivate from my blogging friend, Jenna Shelton and we both immediately signed up! We then went on to invite a few other of our blogging besties and made a fun weekend out of it! It’s kind of funny because all of my best Houston blogging gals actually live on the outskirts of Houston so we don’t get to see each other that often. It’s always so much fun when we get together and get to spend time with other amazing bloggers!

The weekend started with the Create and Cultivate happy hour from 6-7:30 PM. This was my first weekend off since starting work so I was the happiest human! It was so nice to spend some time away from working and hangout with all my favorite people! If you followed along on Insta stories you saw that I had ordered a romper from Boohoo specifically for the happy hour, but it didn’t arrive until late Friday night after I had already left.
So, that left me in kind of a panic (dramatic, I know)
I got ready and did my full hair and makeup then threw on some random black on black ensemble and headed to a Forever21 that was on the way. I literally held up 2 skirts side by side and eye-balled which one would fit better and headed to the checkout. I was in such a time crunch that I didn’t have time to try on anything, so I really was just hoping it would fit! I met Kaci at Escalante’s for a pre-happy hour happy hour and luckily the skirt worked out and I actually really loved it! We had so much fun at the happy hour and I got to meet so many amazing local bloggers!
Next morning I had an early morning shoot with my amazing photographer Meredith! (WEBSITE | INSTAGRAM) I finally got to shoot some fall content for you guys, and that makes me so happy!
Then I met a few of my friends for brunch at Dish Society. It was amazing, and I totally give it 5 stars.

Then we headed off to the Galleria where the Style Summit was! There were 3 different panels that covered blogging, Instagram, fashion blogging and more! It was so great to hear from so many established bloggers. Then the keynote speaker was Sophia Bush !!! Where all my One Tree Hill fans at? I was fangirling SO HARD when she stepped out on stage. I think the whole time I was picturing her with Chad Michael Muray and just couldn’t get over that she was just a few feet in front of me. All I can say is that she is such a phenomenal person, and has really used her fame to help others!

All in all, it was a great weekend! I left feeling so inspired, and am really making it my mission this week to get into a blogging routine! I hate that I have been slacking and really miss producing content for you guys! I hope you enjoyed this quick little weekend re-cap.
