This blog post is long overdue! I am so sorry it took me this long to publish this, but I had some technical issues with my site! But, we are all up and running now!
If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you wouldn’t know that June 24th I turned 25! It’s still shocking that I am 25 years old, but let’s not dwell on that. For my birthday weekend, I partnered up with The Stella Hotel located in Bryan, Texas and had the absolute best time! Let me preface by saying I did not attend Texas A&M, nor had I ever been to Bryan/College Station for anything other than college-related activities. I honestly did not know what to expect from The Stella. I had seen all the pictures online, of course, and knew it had a ton of great amenities, but I still was just picturing a hotel in a college town.
But I was beyond shocked when I pulled up to The Stella Hotel. It’s the most gorgeous hotel I have ever stayed at, and the location is amazing! You immediately pull up and see their man-made lake on the left, and a few little shops to the right. I was already in heaven before I had even parked my car.
The whole hotel has a modern Texas feel. There are so many cute little touches, and you can tell they took a lot of time and attention to detail when decorating! For someone who doesn’t travel a ton, I’m sort of a hotel fanatic. If you have followed me for awhile you know that I love staying at boutique hotels, and will always choose them over a big corporation hotel.
FRIDAY : POOL DAY + DINNER
Upon arriving on Friday I checked into our room, before Jenna and Kaci met me a few hours later! Our room was gorgeous, and the staff had a cheese plate and a pitcher of mimosas waiting for us! We were treated like queens all weekend! Once Kaci got there we put our swimsuits on and headed to the pool. We spent most of the day there, and then headed out for dinner and drinks. Since I had never been to college station really, I let Kaci and Jenna (both Aggie alumni’s) pick where we should go. We had the best popsicle drinks at The Canteen and then had dinner at Hopdoddy.
SATURDAY: MORE POOL + BIRTHDAY DINNER
Our main plans we had for Saturday were to spend it at the pool. We all were really looking forward to relaxing all day in the sun, and we did just that. Once we woke up we headed to their coffee shop connected to the hotel – POV. We grabbed latte’s and a muffin and had a quick breakfast before heading to the pool. The rest of our day was spent in the sun. Their pool bar – Watershed has a full bar, and a ton of food menu items you can have delivered right to your lounge chair! We had lunch by the pool, and then later were given frozen drinks.

After a full pool day we relaxed a bit in the room, then got ready for my birthday dinner! The Stella Hotel made a reservation for us at their hotel restaurant, Campfire which was AMAZING! Initially, I didn’t know what to expect from their restaurant. Personally, when I think of hotel restaurants I think of overpriced run of the mill food. Anyone else? Not really what I would think of for a birthday dinner, but the second I checked in on Friday I knew everything about The Stella was going to be great.
Dinner at Campfire was beyond amazing. Our reservation was at 7, and we did not leave our table until close to 10:30 PM. That was just how much fun we were having, and what a great dining experience it truly was. We all started with wine (champagne for the birthday girl of course) and then ordered salads and shared the Lobster Mac & Cheese for our appetizer. For our meals I ordered the Grilled Salmon, Jenna had the Carne Asada and Kaci ordered the Braised Beef Short Rib. Everything was so delicious, and I still think about that meal – seriously. Then we forced ourselves to order dessert and shared the Campfire Smore and Chocolate Cake. Both were amazing, of course.
After dinner, we hung out outside for a while. They have a huge open area located by the pool that has a ton of chairs, and a few outside games. The weather was pretty nice (for Texas) so we had fun just relaxing outside before heading upstairs to end the night!
SUNDAY: BRUNCH + CHECKOUT

Sunday was my 25th birthday, so we woke up and got ready for brunch! Before we checked out we headed back to POV again for coffee, and this time got a picture in front of their adorable cacti wallpaper! After brunch, we all headed back to Houston, and I had birthday dinner with family!
I cannot thank The Stella Hotel enough for hosting us for my birthday weekend! We all three had the best time, and will definitely be back. Whether you’re looking for a weekend away with your husband, or just a destination for a girls trip The Stella has it all! I encourage you to check out their website, and see everything that they have to offer. If you any question about my stay feel free to e-mail me!
