Back at it with another post in our Bright and Bold series with my boo – Morgan Knowles! We have been loving doing this series, and it seems like you guys love it too! If you’re new around here, I’ll make it short and sweet. Every month I team up with Morgan, and we style the same item or same trend two ways! I have more of a colorful (aka bright) and girly style, while Morgan loves her neutral and edgy style (aka bold). So, you get to see two different ideas of the same piece!
Quickly I wanted to mention – it started POURING right before (and during) shooting these photos! So, I really don’t have a bunch to post and show off the whole outfit. Houston weather is crazy!
For this months trend, we are talking midi skirts! Following last month with the biker short trend, which I was SO hesitant about – I was just as hesitant with midi skirts. I’m saying next month I need to pick out something Morgan is hesitant about, haha. But, to be honest that girl would probably be down to try anything!
For reference I am 5’3 so I struggle with items that make me look too short, or too stumpy. All my short gals know the struggle.
When we were planning this month we both wanted to do an Amazon try on, and figured it would be fitting to find our trend from Amazon as well. So, with that being said you can find this cute snakeskin midi skirt for only $17 on Amazon Prime! They have a few other print variations – so just for reference, we both bought the “multicolor” option! It’s the third option on Amazon. We are both wearing a small!

I went for a more date night/ dinner out with the girls type of look! Also, so easy to re-create because I’m sure most of you have some type of basic cami in your closet already. Then I paired it with my favorite pair of block heels from Target to finish it off.
